It's not confirmed yet, but a The Hobbit Movie might be made in the future. Wouldn't that be amazing? So many new outfits to make. x3

Today I found an article in the Chicagon Tribune titled McKellen wants back as Gandalf (http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/chi-ian-mckellen-hobbitmar29,0,942999...). Now it seems like they're continuing with the movies (at least I hope so). ^^

That is just horrible to hear - considering how much money they made on all of the spin-off stuffs. And, thinking how much stuffs I bought, it makes me very sad... Never fails... I wonder if they consider the amount of money they'd be making off of another movie.

Alas, word was sent out today that the movie is in jeopardy, mostly due to New Line Cinema's actions of NOT paying royalties and percentages as promised. This time, they've been sued for royalty paymentsby the Tolkien Estate, which states that the Tolkien Foundation, which was contractually promised a certain percentage of the profits from the movies, dvds, cds, and other tie-ins (currently in excess of $6 Billion) has not yet recieved a single cent. (Sigh!) Corporate Greed trumps good moviemaking once more...
