I figure if more than 7,000 people show up in Faerie costumes, it's worth a mention. Many amateurs, several professional costumers in attendance, along with panels, displays, merchants for just about anything related to Faerie, and two costume balls (Good Faeries on Friday, Bad Faeries on Saturday). Tickets still available, you can get them at a discount by visiting the World of Froud website (Purchase Info posted there).
