Hello everyone!
I was just curious if anyone had any suggestions for where to buy dyed (colored) silk doupioni (I think I spelt that right ^^; ) or the like? I know that there are a lot of web sites out there, but I'm super leary on purchasing from somewhere that I've never heard of, or don't have any references to, especially for the cost of that fabric!

Thia Silks is a really good company to order from. They have a website with lots of photo's. I've ordered from them before. They are very good to deal with and they ship rather quickly.

Dharma Trading online has
Dharma Trading online has silks and other natural cloth but they aren't dyed. Ebay occasionally has some decent deals on dupioni. Fabrics.com is another source as is Thai Silk. I'd shop around for the best price.
Sometimes Joanne's home dec department will have their silks on sale and they carry a dupion.
